If your healthy with no other med.problems choose a midwife and if possible a homebirth.I've birthed 8 children naturally no-meds period,but in a hosp.Out of all 8 only 1 was a wonderful expierence outside of the births ofcourse.The doc's & nurses are a mess.
I went to a regular ob/gyn practice however they were evenly split with doctors and cnm (certified nurse midwife). for me i enjoyed the midwife tract because it was less invasive and they actually listened to my needs and allowed me to have the birthplan i wanted. even though i had my son in the hospital there was no iv and free movement. my midwife allowed me to decide when i was ready to deliver. for the next i'm doing a homebirth. i'm a doula in training have you considered to use one as well because they are trained to help you believe in yourself and have a natural childbirth which is most comfortable with you. check out dona.org for more info.
