About Me

"Live your life in the Light" is my daily mantra and the essence of my Being. Finding the Divine in the mundane is an essential lesson and the key to joy. I honor and share my energy with all of you beautiful sisters who have brought your Light and your Divine joy to this site. As we raise our Spirit we raise up humanity. As we love ourselves more and more, we unveil the truth, that our soul is Divine and God Is.

I am a teacher of meditation for over 34 years in the disciplines of Transcendental Meditation and the last 8 years, I have been certified teacher of the Divine Knowledge, better known as the Punchabutas or 5 Elements. My teaching and studies have taken me all over the globe that includes years of continual study in South India with my guru, Swami Kaleshwar.

Other endeavors includes being one of the  first professional braid artists. I started a business in 1977 providing services to the entertainment industry here in Los Angeles. I still have retained some clients, but my focus has evolved in utilizing the healing energy found in the hands to assist to awaken and  provide healing when I work on my client's hair in the specific areas of the crown chakra.

I also embrace a raw vegan diet and herbal supplements for ultimate health and vitality, especially for sisters who are now stepping into the role of elders and whose bodies are transitioning into menopause. I give so much accolades to Queen Afua and the tremendous work she is doing in that regard. To my younger sisters I say, please be cognizant of your health. Nourish your body, as you nourish your soul. The days go by so swiftly and when you look back, you want to be able to have captured the glory of your life, with a body that  is fully vitalized and in harmony with nature.  And being consistent with your healthy endeavors awards you with a body temple that defies aging and the diseases that are so prevalent in the African American communities. It is a redundant statement I am sure, but one that cannot be overly emphasized, and one that has been a personal struggle.

 I apologize for this is obviously not a short bio... But, there is much I look to learn and much I hope to share, and I look foward to communing, networking and befriending you.
