MY LIFE MY STORY MY VERSE
I am a 36 year-old wife/mother/writer most days. I have four beautiful warrior children ages 6,7,10,11 (Naima, Camara, Kambui and Nzingha). I have a degree in Print-Journalism/English Literature. I am a certified Special Education Teacher Mild/Moderate disabilities and Severe/Profound disabilities. I taught for nine years before the Hurricane. Also during that period I found myself at odds with that particular career path. Today I am currently completiting my M.F.A. studies in Creative Writing while being an at home mommy (homeschooling). I work with a co-op vegetable garden program called Sankofa Gardens and it's a wonderful treat.

Full Moon is near and I am in thought as to your status regarding the arrival of your fifth child. As I type my words I find myself reflecting on the scent and smells of a newborn and I am reminded of the nurturing warmth of Yemaya. Blessings unto the fruit of your womb! I have been temporarily misplaced in the midwest. But my home in
Georgia. I left in 2000 and I have not been right ever since. I used have shrines, pour libations and the like. I not done much of that since I have been hear. I need a reading like now!!!!. I But it is hard to find people like that hear. There is really no central place or group of people. There are all
sporadically place. I look for somethings to do to become more centered,
balanced, focus, introspective, and honest true to one's self. Do you have any ideas about building a shrine, prayers, or daily affirmations?
