Your word have come at the right time I am young and at times doubt myself when it comes to things of the heart. At times i think msybe i think to much with my heart and not my mind. But I have began to listen to the inner voice that has been guiding me for years and I can sense qhen things are not in order or not correct. Some people say I am weird for this but when I dont listen i get in so much mess and it makes me sick. The more I listen the more I see I am right about things and that i can no longer acceppt less then what I am worth. I will keep you posted on what will be.

I have included some information that I hope can give you some insight on this event. I would like to go. I registered, however, I am still trying to map out transportation, hotel cost etc. You have to pay for your travel, transportation etc. However, I was informed that some people received scholarships. I do not know if this is true because I spoke to a woman who works with the National Summit/Department of Veterans /VA Women Veterans in DC and she said it was not true so maybe it was a urban legend.(lol)

I am doing better. At this point in time I dont know if me and my soulmate are going to be ok we are about to go to counseling to see if we can work it out but if we can't we will have to go our seprate ways but remain friends for the sake of my son. But i will keep you posted.
I know it's been awhile. I am back from my "special project". I have been away in the mountains of west virginia. I really cannot share much about what I have been doing. But I will say that it has changed me--for the better. I have learned some things about my inner and physical strenth, and ability to focus, and deal with pain that I did no know I had in me. I guess because I never had to push myself to those physical and mental limits before. I think I feel a blog comming on. LOL! Anyway, I have some catching up to do with all my sisters here. Would you believe that about a week before I left, I purchased the Sacred Woman book. I had been thinking about this book for some time now. And I was wondering around Books a million here, and found one solitary copy in the the sorry excuse of African American literature section that they have in this particular bookstore. Anway, I felt compelled to purchase the book, and just kinda got my nose into it, but not too deep because I knew I was leaving. I can tell that this is going to be a life changing book.
Anyway, it is good to be back, and drop a line when you can.

It is a wonderful site. I learn so much from my sistahs. Are you going to attend the VA Women's Health Conference in DC next month? I dont get out much due to my health. I wanted to tell you that your site looks really nice. How did you get the pictures on your blog? I still cant get the hang of loading them on. Any tips?
