S.O.S
Good morning My Sistah! I'm here in Lakeland, FL! :) I would like to do a detox for my entire body inside and out. Please if it is not too much trouble tell me what I need to do.
Re: S.O.S
Detoxification (purification) is a lifelong process! So take it one day at a time! And be gentle, kind and loving to yourself!
Begin with increasing your water intake. Distilled water is preferred, but if all you have it tap water today, drink tap today and drink distilled water at room temperature, later! Increase your consumption of the food of the earth. Raw fruit, veggies and nuts, the real first "fast food"! Take deep breaths! Even if it's only when you "go to the potty" and increase your deep breathing time! Take a good liquid multivitamin. Pray & Meditate! Meditate & Pray and I promise Spirit will begin to show you the way to purification (detoxification)!
These tips should get you up and running! If during your detoxing (purification) you need inspiration, feel free to contact me!

I am in the Shreveport Louisiana area and I'm a dedicated yogi. I practice for an hour and a half daily it keeps me grounded and heart smart about what I take into my body and what I refuse. I wish I was in Dallas though cause you're having too much fun.
Thanks!
Dearest Sistah,
Your yoga practice is empowering! Yes, we are creating some wonderful experiences in Dallas, but who says we can't create wonderful experiences in Shreveport? Shreveport is right up the road from where I grew up! We use to go shopping there (Mall St Vincent, South Park Mall) every weekend!! I would love to have an event in the area! Would you be willing to help me pull that off? Let me know!
Peace, Love and Light,
Keva
Peace Sista Keva!
Thank you for connecting with me. I have visted your site before and would have met you a lot sooner. I was (have since resigned) the board president for Sistas in the Light, Inc. You were suppose to guest speak at our women's retreat back in October. I am glad we connected through YMIB. We need to hook up and do some work since we're in the same area. Look forward to sharing with you.
Much Love,

Re: Peace Sista Keva!
It's good to know that you are in the DFW area! I would love to meet you in the flesh! I remember that engagement in October 2007! I was new to the area and was not able to find the location, but from what I heard from the current executive director, all turned out well and I was pleased to hear it! YMIB is a wonderful place! A cyber temple of sorts! I am so thankful for this forum and so pleased that we have both found it and each other!
Sending Peace, Love and Light your way,
Keva
In the neighborhood...
This evening, I was just browsing and wanted to say hello to sisters I hadn't greeted in a while. I'm glad that I stopped by your way. In re-committing myself to wellness and wholeness, I've begun looking into yoga as part of improving my physical health. The only yoga that I've ever done was Bikram Yoga. I definitely enjoyed it and felt refreshed arterward, but it was only a one-time thing. That was in CA. I didn't even realize there was an association of black yoga teachers, but that is what I was seeking a couple of days ago when I started researching classes. It was great to come here and find out about the association. So thanks a bunch. Too bad I'm not in TX. I'm in Memphis right now, had been considering moving to Houston or Dallas, but now I'm leaning more toward Atlanta.
Many Blessings & Love,
Lesedi
