I went to your page and saw the youtube thing...
And I was waiting on the edge of my seat for some women with out the weaves or the "creamy crack" (relaxer) in their hair. I was truly dissapointed. It came but waaay too late in my opinion. Yes whoever made that vid is promoting black beauty, but also what seems to be a deep seeded insecurity with most of the women to wear their own natural texture of hair. It's promoting a standard of beauty that when our young sisters or hell, even our elders see it, it's saying "most of the time if you wanna be considered beautiful, you have to relax your hair or get a weave." Of course that idea is extremely damaging to our hair and our souls.

I can post a blog saying that SOULSEETEES needs a vid with NATURAL sisters and get the ymib community to submit their photos and we can do a lil vid ourselves! This is what it's all about! I have windows movie maker....I should be able to email it to you when it's finished. I am a digital editor and I have a show called Helese TALKS! and I could definitely put you on the list to recieve updates about the new episodes! I will def post a blog about it TOMORROW so all the ymib sisters can see it!

I think we should get together and protest B.E.T..
So how should we do this? I know a way, maybe get together an online petition that says we will boycott their sponsors if they don't change their name to Black Exploitation Television, change their programming, or get off the air. It's all about the dollar. We have to boycott their sponsors. We can opt to put that money in the Black Community instead..or whatever. We have to do something. And I don't even watch it! Haven't really watched it for 7 years!
