What is In a Name?
What's In a Name???
A whole lot! Whether our names are self-chosen, chosen by family or friends of family, or are earned or defined by another reason or way - the energy that resonates when we call one by a name (whether it be their given or chosen name, an intimate nickname, or other random name) sounds off into the Universe and also begins to energize the one who the name is associated with.
Each letter resonates with a number, and each number with a specific charge, energy, force. Therefore the letters adding up within your name total to a specific number/energy. As well as repeating letters/energies can occur in your name and happenstances. Check out & for a brief start.
However each name also has a definition and origin. I was trying to find a link to an article I read earlier today, but I cannot find it, but here is a link to some popular American name trends as of current: http://www.babyhold.com/babynames/Discussions/Popular_Baby_Names_and_Tre...
I also now will offer some feminine and masculine names that I think are simply divine and have beautiful meanings:
Ananda: This is from Sanskrit and means "Bliss in being", sometimes also thought of as ultimate bliss
Auset - The Mother Goddess of Kemet(Egypt), goddess of fertility and society. Also known commonly today as Isis
Bhakti: In Sanskit, this means devotion. In Sanskrit, Bhakti comes from the root bhaj, which means to afore or worship God. And the idea of Bhakti Yoga is "love for love's sake"!
Chicomecoatl: The ancient Aztec/Mexican Goddess of Sustence, also the ruling goddess of Corn (the crop that fed and sustained the society)
Nzinga: The former Queen of Angola - this Queen Sister refused for her country to become a colony of Portugal. She is known for her intelligence, statesmanship. During her rule, NO Angolans were taken or captured into slavery. Also commonly thought to mean beautiful
Shai: From the Hebrew, meaning Gift
Asa - From the Hebrew meaning, healer
Hasan - Arabic name meaning, "good-looking" or handsome
Imhotep - Kemetic name meaning, "one who comes in peace". Imhotep, of Kemet is the first engineer, architect, and doctor ever! Modern medicines and technology are still based on his writngs.
Messiah - Meaning a Liberator or person who frees others
