You clean Mother Earth to be fresh to be new again to grow
You meet and catch others on your way down bringing strength
Your power is taken for granted. You cleanse but yet you can destroy.
It rains here almost everyday, Floriday afternoon storms, better than Hurricanes anyday................................ but i watched the rain and this is what i thought.
If anyone of the sisters live here in Florida, near the Tampa area, can you tell me if there is anywhere to go listen to spoken word?
1st remove all clutter from our lives................... get rid of anything u dont use or need. And I mean ANYTHING!!!
2nd we have to cleanse our minds and hearts of the negative crap around us - easier said than done but we can do it.......... we need to take lunches everyday!! Breaks everyday, go outside sit in the sun or just sit and breathe ..............read, get away! Cleanse your mind and soul of the negativity that can completly surround you!
3rd we have to accept that this is the way THEY are (negative people), we cant change it, fix it or control it, but we can control how it wll affect us and we can not allow it to control us at all!!!
4th listen to music everyday....... heart pounding wanna get up and dance MUSIC!! so we can avoid the NOISE that surrounds us!! Listen to music that is soulful, deep and has true meaning!! Can you say Common, Erica Badu, India Aire!! Deep, Meaningful!
5th Surround urself w/ positive ppl their influence will be so strong that those negative ones wont matter!!
Finally but not least!!!
Pretty Day ..... we should feel pretty everyday, however (lets keep it real) us girls dont always feel that way everday. Make it a point at the minimum once a week, get dressed up, put on your best skirt, shoes whatever, that one outfit that you love and when you put it on you FEEL GOOD!!

Why do you tell your man that you want him to be honest, however when he is you get upset?
Why do your friends let you go out in public looking crazy?
Why do we continue to allow ourselves to stay in unhappy situations for the sake of spouses, children and family but completly forget about US?
Why are we (as women) so afraid to pursue our dreams and take chances?
Why is it that there are still people out in the world who can not appreciate an independant woman? Why am I still supposed to cook and clean everyday, why can't everyone help?
Why do we as mothers continue to sacrifice for our children who in 20 years will tell the therapist that they hated us? :-)
Why do we feel guilty when we do something for ourselves?
I think the reason why we do these things is because we as women are some of the most compassionate and gentle people in the world, and because of the amazing effect of the media. It is in our nature to creative and re-form, so we end up applying this nature to the many things that surround us within our lives. As long as we create order within our midst, we will have the time for ourselves again. The world is in a chaotic stage, and I think as women...as the mothers of this earth, we just need to slow down and create order and discipline around us again...Maat at her best, then we will find that PEACE of time & PEACE of mind where we can find and celebrate and appreciate our beauty with our inner self, and with our outer spirit, within that order we can create a more balanced life. I give thanks to you for such an honest and genuine post..it reads as poetry! Take care and as long as we keep on asking why, we will continue to grow!

Why do your friends let you go out in public looking crazy: because jealousy is something else and everybody is looking for that ounce of self-esteem to drink up, and if they feel they lookin better than you then, all else is out the window.

When we have a solid plan and order then these things may become easier to deal with.

We wouldn't be genuine mothers if we didn't sacrifice.
