You are welcome

Ms. Nzinga.

You know something, I love the moon and I look forward to learning more. As I learn and share what I've learned through trial and error, I welcome your knowledge and insight into what may be of use to me and my travels.

Some things I do to better familiarize myself with the moon:
I read daily, and when I say read, I'm reading books about the moon/astrology (the ones previously mentioned) including the Lunation Cycle by Dane Rudhayr.

Each month, I jot down the rise/set times of the moon and sun, the sign, when to void course, I pay note to my senses and the environment, and I keep a journal of what I find and compare.

With regards to the moon, please share some things you currently do to help yourself.

I PRAY for the predators that hunt me.

Hello Ms. Nzinga :o) and thank you for stopping by, and I'm glad you liked the family photos. I chose lions because I am clannish, surrounded by a pride of loving females, and I gotta a little lioness in me. Me Mercury in Leo.

As for the moon, I absoutly love its pull, phase, and power! To help myself better understand the moon, I dedicate time to read and research the moon. I take pictures of the moon, go outside and observe my surroundings, and I pay attention to my body and the people around me.

Some books I like to read daily: Mysteries of the Dark Moon by Demetra George, 2008 Farmers Almanac, 2008 Witches Almanac, and Moon Time by Johanna Paungger.

I PRAY for the predators that hunt me.

Just dropping a quick hello

Hello sister Mawiyah. I have been away for a while. But I am back now, and thinking about all my sisters here. So, I am just sending a few smiles out to everyone. I hope you are well, and happy.

Thanks for the hometown hugs. I'll return someday but now I got four babies to think about and truth be told my husband and I were teachers fired as a result of the hurricane and so we planted roots in Shreveport. Ineeded to care for my father suffering from Alzheimers and provide stability for my mother. In short we made the touggh decesion to leave. Family is still there though and you know I'm uptown for life. Man I'd love to talk to you about home it's rare to share that kind of Nawlins love.

Thanks Sister
