Give thanks.... That is the symbol of the Ankh with a Gye Nyame blended with it. The ankh means eternal life, and the gye nyame means supremacy of God. I have both symbols in my space all the time because I feel they have significant strength in the most divine meanings of life... Life is eternal and that is something that burns out all fears. It helps us overstand life's truest essence. And the Supremacy of God equally reminds us that there is a higher power, a creator and most importantly, He lives within us!

I have been our circle of sisters for a about a week or so. I love this website. I am so addicted to the knowledge here. I love learning from all the different women here. Everyone is so different but yet the same. All have so many talents and lessons to teach. I pray that your experience here is better than mine. Give thanks for your kind words about my loc blog. As for wrapping, to me it's all about having the right type and length of fabric. Get a long piece and keep wrapping until you get it the way you like then just cut off the excess cloth. I start wrapping the fabric on the left side of my head, right behind my ear, then I just keep it tight around my temple and work upwards adn fold inward so it's not huge, then I tuck the rest neatly at the top.(It might sound confusing written so just Keep practicing)
