About Me
I am a lover of history. Although everyone's history is important, my heart is filled with love for African-American History. I am a lover of positive energy, peace, Black People, Reggae, and the Harlem Renaissance. I love my family, New Orleans, red beans and rice, the lake on Sundays (back in the day), and pecan candy. I would love to visit Africa. I love the Color Purple. The movie, the book, and yes, the actual color purple itself. I love to read books by and about African-Americans. I love the History Channel and Law & Order. But most importantly I love me!

hi!!!
Thank you for stopping by sister. I have been away for about a month due to work, and it's nice to be back now. I will be working on reconnecting with all my sisters.
Keep checking back for music. I am always updating. I love Blues Traveler. It reminds me of a very interesting time in my life.

Greetings Sista,
Thanks for your interest and support! I do not have a size chart but currently I do not have any plus sizes. If you are one of those sista's like myself which are "stacked" :) I can direct you to the best style/size for your measurements, just let me know.

Greetings HomeSistah!
I read your post about your natural hair and I had to visit your page. I'm New Orleans born and raised as well. Left for the storm and then returned but now we're leaving again this summer for the Northeast. I love my hometown: the culture, the food, the festivals, and the weather. I love this place but it's time to spread my wings.

Love you New Orleans Ladies! I was born and raised in the streets of New Orleans. What's UP !(LOL). Big Ups to Cohen, Community Book Center, SUNO, UPtown, Backatown, Ninth Ward, and GUMBO. Oh I forgot the Neville Brothers and Congo Square. I loved the hair post and truth be told if we were not our hair then why would people look at it first when we stroll by. Child you see her head. (LOL)
Peace and Blessings or Peace and Sulphur Eight as my Mama Would say.
