My Mission In Life
I want to tell families that have special needs love ones that stressing and wigging-out will not help. Except the peace God gave us and be blessed. I am not saying not to fight for what is right for you and your family. Be proactive in caring for your children though finding quality care, education and fun. When things go the way you don't want, realize and ask God what is his will. I have faced all types of trials and came out ok. It may not had been the way I wanted but I was still ok and alot of times better than ok. I learned you can not help yourself and family by being tired, stressed, hurting, confussed, depressed, burded down, overwhelmed, and sick. I have learned by parenting two autisic boy over 16 years, to just ask for God's will be done and it always turn out the way it should be. My will has not always been achieved but my family and I were just fine. God always takes care of his own!
Once I learned that it is about God, I have been able to fall into the protective arms of God, and allow myself and family to completely be carried by God. I stopped worring about how my family story will end and like the song says thats when things started happening. The physical weight I had gained over the years came off, over a 130 pounds, and the mental weight sloughs off daily! Beloved, I wanted tell everybody what I have learned. Be Blessed Beloved

The Little Things Bring Happness Sometimes
When my oldest son was about three years old a teacher told me, little steps mean so much with children that have autism. So enjoy the all the little steps. At that time, I really did not know how important little steps would be to me. That is why when I looked at this video that was sent to me, I filled up with joy and happness because I knew what this boy's family was feeling. They probably never thought he would do any thing like this.

For The Love Of Fashion
I was a Fashion Merchandising Major in college. I field studied in New York my senior year. However, I do nothing like that now. I hated living in New York. I could not get use to big city living. I longed for the slow speed of the Midwest. I love going in the yard and seeing ducks, deers, birds, trees, gardens, and openness. I know you can find those thing in New York, so I guess it boils down to the feel of small town living is what I need in my life. I recently visited New York for a week and I loved it, but I was glad to catch my plane home. Well, I said all that to say that I still love fashion.
