SoulLiving ~ Every Minute Counts
Thank you Mawiyah for the kind words and I am glad you enjoyed my blog! I use to post everyday, but had to cut back due to increasing lack of time. Nonetheless, I am excited to be a part of this new community of positive sistas nd thanks for the invitation.
What an informative site. I really had to pull myself away last night to complete some chores. I an thankful for the spot. For me it's not bravery maybe a little insanity (LOL) in either case do you. I too am a dark skinned sister and I love the icon. She can represent both our beauty. I liked that "different strokes are truly for different folks" sometimes it's a matter of what you will put up with and what you won't that can mean the difference in what type of relationship success you get. The character of the person is often the measuring stick to how they will be treated. If you allow yourself to be a walking mat then men and women might walk, jog, or run all over you. If you carry yourself with respect and a little inkling of "I won't stand for that" then the same marathon runners will approach you with sense realizing that you have not signed on to play the role of race track.
I wasn't sure about the category of my blog site, so I selected 'everyday living' because that is what it entails, moments and events in living my life everyday. Oh I have noticed all you brave sisters that post your photo on the web, I always use this icon. I hope that doesn't matter. Perhaps I will do at least a profile. Nonetheless, the icon, like me, is dark and I am locing my hair and that is pretty much my expression everyday at work! :-)
Thanks For The Blog
Welcome to the circle. Peace be with you.
