Hope all is well with you and your family. Just stopping by to hail you up and wish you a wonderful, peace filled day. Btw I read your last blog, some people feel like they have accomplished a great deed when they "make" you lose you cool especially when you carry yourself in a humble and peaceful way. I know it is very hard not to respond especially after being provoked. Hope you were able to resolve the issue by speaking your mind, sometimes it helps to let people know exactly how you feel. Take care sis and continue to be the queen that you are.

Family is the most resistant to a way of life they dont understand. this daycare provider is "family" by marriage on my husband's side so she KNOWS how we roll !! Being from Africa, I totally understand ur situation with your West Indian family. Matter of fact us black folk in general anr not very supportive of family who chose a natural flesh free way of life. Funny thing too is when im around my family and those we know i always get that snide...hmm so u r vegetarian (smirk) so you wont eat this spicy bbq rib?" and im like no, im worthy of giving the best to my body!!! lol
Anyways, our bottom line is, if you dont like it, keep it moving.
Thank you so much for responding and sharing your words! I will keep you posted.
You accepted my friend request some time ago and although over due I’m finally stopping in to say hi. I really appreciate you sharing your personal and sacred journey of childbirth. I thoroughly enjoyed reading your blog and I give you nuff respect to you for the warrioress that you are. Enduring such an experience naturally without any drugs is truly admiral. You put a smile on my face when you spoke about wanting to faint and not being able too. I could relate to wanting to faint during giving birth to my first child. I remember not being able to sleep and the unforgettable pain. I was in labor for about 20 hours and I guess my son so comfortable being in my womb that he did not want to leave. I was told I would have a cesarean if he didn’t come soon and that was incentive enough. I summoned up all the energy I had left and pushed his lil comfortable butt straight on through. Any how sis, have a beautiful day and many blessings to you, your new little one and your family.

I admire you for being such a solider. I was told to also have my baby girl Zoe, naturally. But when that pain hit, all I wanted was that needle. I know that having baby boy without those chemicals brought you both so much closer to the divine birthing process. Jah Bless you sistren...
Peace and Blessings
I am so proud of you for making the brave decision to do as our ancestors before us, and deliver your son naturally!! when pregnant I read that it is not pain, it is the child making their way down the path to come forward. That shifted my whole mindset about labor pain and helped me focus on relaxing to let her come through... and just you said, soon as she came through and I laid eyes on her the pain vanished...poof!! and it was PURE ECSTACY!!
I was thinking of you today and couldn't stay away. I'm writing to send blessings to the family. Keep each other comforted and kiss and hug and sing the baby a sweet serenade for me.
Im so happy for you. The 18th? wow its been a while. Give thanks for the link.No drugs! And no stiches!!! Blessings. SMILE:)
