Hello Sisters,
My name is Linsey. I am a wife, mother and the owner of PamperingU.com. I LOVE life! I take full advantage of each day that I'm blessed with and I live my life to the fullest. I'm a notorious risk-taker, I live on the edge and I enjoy pushing the proverbial envelope :>). On any given day you can find me in my "laboratory" cooking up natural potions for healthy mind and body. I'm also studying to become a certified Holistic Health Practitioner and Nutritional Consultant and have plans to open my own full-service wellness center in the future.
I'm really glad I found this site and I look forward to meeting all of you and discovering all that YMIB has to offer.
Namaste,
Re:Hello Sisters!
Hi Linsey,
What part of the world are you in?
Re:Hello Sisters!
Hey Andrea, I'm in Baltimore, MD. What about you? BTW, I gave you karma for being one of the first people from YMIB to reach out to me! Thanks.
Re:Hello Sisters!
Aw thanks! I guess that's the power of reciprocity. You reached out to me first and I appreciated that. I'm in Atlanta.
Re:Hello Sisters!
How do you like living in ATL? My son (and a lot of his friends and college buddies) moved to Atlanta a couple of years ago and he loves it. I haven't been there in a few years but I hope to get a chance to visit soon.

Re:Hello Sisters!
Atlanta...there is a lot of work to be done here. It has the potential to be a wonderful place, but we're so divided. I'm hoping to eventually be in a position to provide some change.

Hello Sister!
Nice to meet you - you seem to have so much going for you - you are blessed, Sister!
I am having health problems, so your holistic advice is always welcome here! I must admit that I haven't led the healthiest lifestyle, and I am paying for it now. As a Baby Boomer I am much more interested in preserving my body and improving my overall health. I NEED to stay on touch with YOU!
Take care and I hope to be connecting with you again soon, My Sister. HOTEP!
Peace & Blessings,
Re:Hello Sisters!
Hi Michelle, it's nice to meet you also! It's true...as we get older we sometimes regret that we didn't take better care of ourselves in our youth. I often joke that life can be cruel--allowing us to make so many mistakes in our youth only to gain wisdom and maturity in our later years. LOL...wonder how we'd all fare as humans if we had the ability to life in reverse?
The good news here is that we were blessed with forgiving bodies and spirits! The human body is remarkable in that it almost immediately starts to reverse damage we've done to ourselves the minute we stop the harmful activity (bad diets, lack of exercise, etc.). So, it's never too late to develop a positive plan of action for a healthier lifestyle.
Feel free to contact me anytime if you need a supportive ear. I'm a holistic newbie--studying to become a Holistic Health Practitioner and Nutritional Consultant but I'll be happy to share any information I've learned. Take care and be well!
Linsey
