The holidays are rapidly approaching and this is the time of year most of us get really busy. So to take some of the pressure of marketing off our hands, I thought it would be a good idea to start an advertising co-op where we could help each other market our businesses. This is how it works:
We swap a pre-determined number marketing materials (business cards, flyers, brochures, product data sheets, post cards, etc.) with other merchants in the co-op. Then, when we pack/ship orders to our customers, we include the marketing materials/packaging inserts from the other merchants in the orders we ship out. This way, we reach a wider variety of people/audience that may be interested in our products/services.
I have a handmade beauty business (we make pampering and healing products: bath, body, aromatherapy, alternative healing, etc.) and I'm looking for businesses with product lines that would compliment mine like (but not limited to) candles, natural skin care, natural products for home, pets & children, natural teas/coffees, nutritional supplements, flowers, relaxation books/music, bodywork practitioners, etc. I also don't have a problem swapping with other bath and body merchants (I believe there's enough money out there for all of us).

Great idea, i'm not bisuness say yet, but i'm slowly getting it together, so I dont understand much from what u have written, but 2 centralise a system makes sense 2 me!
