As promised, here's my tried and true recipe for Raw Kale Greens!


Marinated Kale

12 cups kale

1/4 cup liquid aminos

½ cup olive oil

1 med tomato

¼ cup diced onion

1tbsp onion powder

2 garlic clove

¼ cup nut. Yeast

(blend olive oil, nutritional yeast and garlic)

**I prepare for folks who LOVE it spicy, so I add "hot" sesame seed oil. You only need a small amount of it. Experiment and enjoy!**

 

*Please note, that while it calls for 1/2 cup of olive oil, I don't use quite that much... so be sure to adjust the recipe as it fits your taste. I know sisters who add red bell peppers, more garlic, etc. So go for it. One thing I guarantee is that it's delicious!

Be sure to remember that even if you're not 100% Raw, inserting some raw dishes into your diet is much better than not eating them at all. Initially, I made this in place of a salad with a veggie burger for my picky 8-year-old son. And he LOVED it! I felt great seeing him eat RAW KALE GREENS! So please, experiment and enjoy!
