I am a first time mother and at times i wonder am i doing everything correct. Everyday there is something new i am learning and i wonder am i on the correct path? I don't have my mother around( i was adopted she has gone on to a better place) to guide me and i feel as though at times i am going the wrong way. I look at my son and say Thank you for choosing me i may mess up at times but i will get it wright one day till then work with mama till then. If anyone out there has any advice on being a mother i will Gladly accept. I will let you all Know how we are doing.

A lot of what we do as mothers depends upon our gut instincts. When you feel your mother wit saying "that is not going to work out," acknowledge that you are giving yourself wisdom. Your son's growth and development will thrive because your love and compassion for his success will guide you-always. Your connection with your son and his first home your womb will make it impossible for you (as long as you listen to the wisdom of your womb) to drop the ball. There are no mistakes here only lessons to be learned for future points of reference. All of the answers are within sit with your inner spirit and listen.

I'm a mama of two boys...they teen/preteen and I kid you not, I learn from them almost daily. Motherhood and parenting has little or no room for "perfection" just a whole lot of love and understanding.
Be loving and patient, and enjoy the time you have learning lessons along the way. It's a process and learning is key.

I have a son he is 14 months. I guess you can say he is my twin down to the chubby toes. thank you for the advice. You are not kidding every day is a lesson on being a mother but I am learning, it is also teaching me about myself I have learn that I am stronger then I thought I could be.

what I mean is...as long as you are operating in LOVE and being your FULL self...listening to yourself and TRUSTING yourself...you canNOT get it wrong...with my children what I always assure myself of is that as long as I am acting in LOVE and in their best interests EVEN my mistakes will be alright

do not allow anyone else's opinions or beliefs or thoughts overrule what you FEEL to be right for you and your baby
