There is just something refreshing about hearing old songs again, whether it's from your era or well before, listening to old songs can keep you feeling young, vibrant, and can possibly keep your memories in check by taking us back to our younger years. So check in every Friday for your "Remember That" fix!
Not only did this song by Mary J. Blige make a statement but the movie Waiting to Exhale held quite a rank in many womens lives that were going through the ups and downs of love. The scene of Angela Bassett setting those clothes on fire alone made the movie! I dedicate this song to all the women out there who have truly given it there all within their past relationships, and for those who had the strength to leave anyone who did not have the love and the genuineness needed to love you! Hoping you all have a wonderful weekend! I'm staying in as it is Masters Weekend here in Augusta, GA and this is probably the only time we have traffic in the city...you know, with Tiger being here and all...LOL. Okay ladies, take care, enjoy the time off, and remember to laugh, love, and it's ok to cry as well! Happy Friday!
PS: Never give up on love.
Thanks sis!
I feel like this one was chosen just for me :-) Loved this song way back but now it really hits home!
Have a blessed weekend with your king and prince.
Blessings,
Chayil

WOW...We Are In Tune
Warm love Chayil...YES(I tried to send the energy of this post across the waters to you)...indeed this one was inspired by you and your story...I did not know how to respond to it, so I always feel like only someone who has felt that or been through it could really offer up some sound advice besides the obvious of keeping strong. So yeah, this song is sort of my reply to your post. I give thanks for you sharing your life and within that I admire your form of sisterhood...the ability to share and ask is vital within many Circles, and I am SO elated that you are apart of this Circle! Keep making it beautiful lady, and you too have a blessed weekend. I will continue to visualize growth, joy, optimism, love, and beauty within your life as well as all of the Circle Sisters that has graced this site!
You Make It Beautiful!
