It's Ok: Just Be Thankful!

With so many temptations and rewards that life can seem to bring. Being thankful for who and where we are within this world can get a little challenging, when you have the mass media pumping out perfection, thousand dollar dresses, must have entourages, and mini ads in between telling us all how to make ourselves look, feel, and act “better”. It gets really hard to maintain our strides of happiness when it seems like there is always someone following behind you with a message of how we need to always want for more, but you know, I say...just be thankful for what you got & the growth you NEED will follow. It's ok to be happy with simplicity, it's ok that the sun makes you smile harder than any sitcom on the television, and it's ok if your one bedroom apartment makes you feel more at home than any 7,000 square foot home ever would. It's important for us to be thankful for what we have at the moment! In the end, we can never take away with us material things and our physical appearances. We have to focus a lot of our attention on nurturing and caressing each others spiritual properties..tell a sister she looks good, tell a brother thank you, show a little one how much they truly mean with words of love, and wave to a stranger, because those are the things we carry within us when we leave the universe...we carry the energies we were handed to deal with while here.

So all in all, just be thankful for what you got..don't worry about the next lady because you've got your own purpose in which you should be driven by to sustain your life...nobody else can tell you otherwise! Just be thankful for small talk. Just be thankful for the love of a child. Just be thankful that your spirit plans to take another breath. Just be thankful that you have your conscience. Just be thankful that you can blow bubbles in the sunshine whenever you like. Just be thankful that you can sit in darkness and feel lit. Just be thankful that you can entertain friends. Just be thankful for simplicity. Just be thankful for your creative spirit. Just be thankful for your senses. Just be thankful you have experiences. Just be thankful that you are you. Just be thankful, and most importantly...Just be!
