Occupation: Full time Mom to teenage son. Office Manager for Oral Surgeon, Jewelry Designer & soon to be t-shirt designer (Currently entitled Sonrise Creations).

Hobbies: Listening to live music, traveling, making jewelry, photography, reading, learning new techniques & cultivating new solid friendships.

ymib: Something new you would like to learn or a goal you would like to achieve now or in the future?

Autumn: I really want to learn to silver smith & do more metal work with my jewelry. As far as my future goal, it is to move to the US Virgin Islands within the next year or so.

ymib: What has been the most important life lesson that you
have learned thus far that you would want another
woman to carry with her?

Autumn: That in order for her to be loved by others, she
must first value and love herself and not to seek validation from any one.

ymib: How does the world look through your eyes?

Autumn:The world is still a beautiful place even amidst all of the treachery that goes on. I think there is a lot of work that needs to be done in order to reach balance.

ymib: Most memorable moment in your life thus far?

Autumn: There are a few, but the absolute most memorable of course would be the first time I felt the flutter of my son moving in my womb & giving birth to him.

ymib: What is your personal mission in life?

Autumn: My personal mission in life is to not live with regrets and help others along the way live the same.

ymib: Who is your favorite female role model, past or
present, and why?

Autumn: My favorite female role model would actually be ALL women in the world who truly strive to make the world & our communities a better place. Those that stand for justice & liberation. There are a lot of conscious women I have come across and each one of them are inspirations to me.

ymib: Advice you would give about the following:

Motherhood:"Your child is your greatest gift & investment. It sounds cliche, but they are OUR future. Take the time to be with them & nurture them. Take lots of photos & videos because there will come a time you can't remember the exact sound of their laughter as children."

Creativity: "I think we are all blessed with some form of creativity. It's about trying things out until you find what works for you. I just started creating about 3 years ago and that was because someone helped me to see that it was in me all along. Don't be afraid to try something new."

Culture: "Definitely learn about your culture & don't be afraid to learn about others cultures as well. I think it helps to bridge the gaps and to bring a greater appreciation to those that are different."

ymib: Favorite affirmation or inspirational quote?

Autumn: "I am in the process of being everything I want to be.", & "I think my greatest lesson we can all learn is to be true to self. That is your greatest power."
