Before I found out that I had PCOS, I was so invested in becoming a mother. I yearned for a child of my own, often stopping in the baby aisle of any store and gazing for hours at cute baby clothes and imagining my stomach round and heavy with my husband's child. But, it was not to be--at least not naturally. After several months of 'trying' we decided to go to the fertility clinic. Being that young, I didn't believe anything was truly wrong.
