These are remedies I have been using for years and they work. Thought I would pass them on to you:
*Body Odor? Baking Soda mixed onto my scrubbing mitts loaded with my favorite soap has worked wonders. The baking soda goes on cool and refreshing and the cleaning freshness lasts for a whole 24hours.
*Clothing Odor, especially polyester? Add sudsy ammonia to your wash. It will rid your clothing of any unwanted smells.
*Might be getting a yeast infection? Well before you run to the doctor or the over the counter medicine, try hot cinnamon tea. 1 tsp of cinnamon and hot water makes a wonderful cure to this ailment.
*Itchy skin? Add peppermint oil to your lotion! It heals, rashes, cuts, scrapes and even can help eliminate psoriasis and eczema.

Thanks!
I never knew about the peppermint oil idea!
Question on the baking soda: Are you suggesting it be used just for cleansing or as the deoderant powder? My experience with it as the deoderant powder is that it can burn the skin. As a cleanser it's great an also exfoliates the underarms. However, before the underarms get lighter and fresh looking mine got dark in color for some reason. Maybe I wasn't doing it right? But it was great for getting a fresh scent even if you're stinky under there.
And the cinnamon tea is a new one for me as well. For yeast infections (and other fungal infections) I love tea trea oil.
Baking Soda
Hey there,
In regards to using baking soda.... it is to be used only as a wash not to stay on the skin. I suggest rinsing thoroughly to make sure all traces of it and soap have left your skin. I have not experienced in skin discolorations so I am unfamiliar with that effect.
Is tea tree oil good for fungal infections as well?
Your sweet sis.
Give thanks for sharing. I'm gonna try using baking soda cuz I've been kinda ripe & I don't like deodorant. A sistren once told me to use lemon, which is another natural way to work with perspiration.
