What is Premarin?
Premarin(e) is a hormone drug made up of estrogens obtained from pregnant mares(female horses) urine. Pregnant Mares Urine = Premarin(e).
It chokes me up but does not surprise me to hear that the mainstream health providers are using a drug which is made up of horses urine to treat women to help reduce the symptoms of menopause, hysterectomies, or it may be prescribed to women who are at risk of osteoperosis. It further strangles me to know what these horses go through in order for this urine to be obtained.
Pregnant horses are encased in a low and narrow stall from about seven to eight months of their eleven month pregnancy, their vulva is cupped to collect their urine and a harness is strapped on to them to keep the containers in place, making it very hard for the pregnant mare to move around and to stand up. They are denied a proper amount of water so that the urine can maintain its desirable concentration. The fouls that are born to these horses are only given about 3-4 months to nurse in comparison to the normal 6 months. Many of the fouls end up getting shipped off thereafter to feedlot,s where they are “beefed” up to sell off to the slaughter houses. While the Mares are encased in these tiny stalls, they are sheltered from exercise and socialness. Many of the same horses are artificillay impreganted or bred year after year until they become barren.
Estrogen replacements can increase s the risk of developing endometrial hyperplasia, which is where the lining of the uterus becomes overgrown nad can possibly lead to cancer. Premarin is also categorized as a “conjugated estrogen”.

On another note, it is just amazing to know that there is urine of any kind being used in prescription drugs. To be quite honest, there are tons of medications and vaccines that consist of substancs that we would knowingly never put into our bodies. If you knew that your next door neighbors urine was in your tylenol or vitamins would you take it? If your doctor utters the words Premarin out of his or her mouth, give them a dead serious look like “what are you thinking”. Whether you are suffering from symptoms of menopause, osteoperosis, a hysterectomy, or any other disease, please take the time to consider what the ingredients are that are being used and take the extra time to research how these medicines are produced. Find the safer and more eco-friendly alternatives, because you never know whats next, your doctor may be prescribing you a pill that is straight from the horses ass! No pun intended!
