Sisterhood : A Healing (r)Evolution

I want to celebrate sisterhood – for all its energy fulfilling moments and quiet underlying strength in foundation. What better way than to start by expressing love to my circle sisters out here, who have all been an amazing inspiration to me since ymib first began... This one is for you! It is a blessing to be able to find life and sisterhood in infinite ways, even when distances and oceans separate us. But as being of infinite energy, we all know that this is not important. There are no barriers to connections as our energy travels through the Universe/You-In-Verse to where positive focus and attention lies. For this reason, this space will now explore how we can use our energy to enlighten and share our strength and energy with sisters, near and far. These exercises are designed to make sure that each individual involved is able to feel the energy effect, even if it is only on a subconscious level. As womben, we are natural healers and lovers. We are naturally able to pick up and sense what the Universe/You-In-Verse brings forward to us.

As womben united in conscious love, there is connective strength and further opportunity to grow in our inner journey.

· The state or relationship of being a sister or sisters.

· The quality of being sisterly.

· A society, especially a religious society, of women.

· Association or unification of women in a common cause.

Another definition:

· Glorious, fully Self acknowledged, fabulous.

· Free from Self doubt, Self hatred and Self treachery.

· Wild, empowered.

· The collection of womben that honours the female spirit and their global efforts.

· The space for Self love, authentic Self expression and creativity.

· Brimming with organic, intuitive and non-linear ideas and theories.

· The stand that all womben, everywhere, fearlessly proclaim their bold Self and lead the charge to healing and transforming the planet.

Full Moon Meditation

The moon is a great symbol and empowerment tool of femininity and intuition. As womben, our body cycles move with Her and our mood tides are driven by Her force. She is an ongoing influence in female energy and what it can accomplish. Moon meditations are so powerful. Our ancestors knew of Her beauty and secrets. Now we may continue to establish our connections with Her by exploring sisterhood through Her. This meditation is to be used in a group or alone. If you plan to use this meditation in a group setting, please form a circle so that all of you are able to join hands, yet have enough space (roughly at arm length) between your Self and the womben sitting next to you. The circle is a sacred way of uniting people in a group so that the flow is achieved and harmonised throughout the group. It is usually a wonderful way to arrange group meetings so everyone is involved and facing one another. This meditation is to be scheduled during the full moon.

In a group, it is a good idea to have someone guiding with words:

1. Begin by concentrating on breath – feeling it enter and release as it fills the whole room with your energy.

2. Slowly return the focus to the centre of the floor in front of you – or in the middle of the group circle. Begin to visualise the full moon in this area space.

3. Take this energy in your body, imagining that the moon is becoming part of the energy around you and within. Enjoy the feeling of connecting with her.

4. When you are ready, begin to visualise the moon slowly going through her stages and gradually disappearing. Take a minute or so to go through each stage and feel its effect on you.

5. Eventually, the moon is dark. Stay focused on this stage and feel how Her darkness affects you and your emotions.

6. When you are ready, begin again to work your way back to having a full moon.

Sister Uprising

There are times when we all need a helping hand or a healing thought. If energy goes where focus lies, maybe it is time to use the power of healing prayer and thought to those you know who need it. For even greater power, synchronised thought and prayers can be arranged for the healing of a sister's pain and negativity. Please note, if a womban's soul is not accepting of this energy, the healing may not work or dissolve into her aura. It is a good idea to ask first before attempting to do a powerful group prayer. Reiki is easily used for this purpose and is a very pure healing form of energy – in distant or one-to-one form. If you wish to share a healing force with a loved friend/family, why not buy a Reiki voucher for a treatment as gift.

Sometimes, we connect with womben who we haven't met in person – yet our soul feels connected or inspired by her energy – through her work, her pre-Essence etc. To start the process of sending this person energy, begin by asking her (in your prayer or thoughts) if this energy will be accepted. Usually, there is an instant feeling afterwards that will guide you to whether she will accept it. Follow your instincts and be responsible with that answer. However, if you don't feel an answer, you may send your prayer and energy stating with good intention that she may choose to accept it or not. In this way, you still are able to share the experience and let her decide at a soul level to choose whether she wants/needs it. It's amazing how thoughts work. Have you ever had that experience when you think about a person and they get in touch with you soon afterwards in one form or another? This is just a small example of how powerful thoughts work. A friend once told me that in her family, they shared a Chinese saying that says that if you think about a person during the day, they will soon show up. There is so much truth to that!

Moving Meditation

From the beginning of Self evolution, moving meditations have been part of us – in the form of dance and music. In group form, this can bring true soul unity as a group expresses and develops connection through movement and synchronisation of feeling the music.

A few ideas to do in a group:

Organize a regular meeting of womben to use dance as a healing tool. If you know anyone who can contribute through singing or instruments, you can arrange to make your own music. If not, choose positive music to unite the group.

Form a circle and begin by the organiser of the event starting her moment of dance and moving meditations to the music, freestyle – She will then invite another womban inside the circle when she feels ready. As you both dance, the first person will slowly move out back into the circle while the second dancer explores movement and chooses her partner. Let the cycle continue with connecting and choosing to go in and out of this sacred circle. There are no rules, just let it flow! Of course, this is just an idea and can be arranged any other way. The main aim is to get each womban involved in the dance of life. These are just a few ideas to exploring sisterhood through natural techniques and female energy – be as creative as you like in the process of developing more!
