5 Reasons To Be Open To Others In Your Life

If we all lived in an honest and open world, maybe we would be further down the journey to Self discovery. Maybe then, we would start to attract those around us who truly feel the way we do, to inspire one another through the chosen path. Maybe if we could all just be open to those around us, the Universe will bring to you what you really want.

It takes strength to be open and honest – it will put you in a place where you may feel vulnerable, open to the elements and exposed. The truth may not always be a nice to hear or share – it might even be offensive to others who feel you are not being kind or within the same vibration as their thoughts.

Whatever the reaction - in truth you cannot lose. You will be back on track to where you are supposed to be in your journey. Others around you will also be back on track to where their path lies. Will you give in to your fear of rejection? How bad can it be?

For example, if you decided to really express your love emotions to another soul who didn't know and then got rejected… would that kill you? Or would it kill your ego? Ego will live in fear of rejection. Ego will take fear and use it against you so that you will miss out on what really counts. What really counts is that you face your fear and find out why it is you are so afraid of it. In order to face your fear, you need to be open and honest – to your Self and to others. You might never know if this is your time to move forward (and away).

It is sad but sometimes we outgrow our surroundings, our old patterns, old friends etc. This is a sign that we have evolved on to the next level or that we are in transition. If you are open, you will discover who and what it is that you have really moved away from and why. You will discover that there are new challenges and inspirations waiting for you. You will also no longer feel the need to stay n a place where you are unsatisfied. There is a reason why you are feeling that it is time to move on.

TrustTrust that the Universe is working for you and not against you. Trust that your emotions and feelings are telling you the right thing. Trust that you have no bad intentions for others. Trust that your instincts will lead you to reveal your Self at the right time and the right place. Most importantly, trust your Self and know that with openness and honesty, you are living for your purpose and for the love of those around you. Once you can trust your Self, you will find that your trust in others grows too.

You are not aloneI had a funny experience once where I had known a person for years. I really thought I knew this person well too. One day, I decided to open my thoughts wider and let this person in to a zone that no one else knew. Afraid at first, I waited for her reaction. And to my surprise, she opened up to a part of her that I never knew we could connect to. From that day, our friendship expanded in a way that I never thought possible.

Sometimes it just takes one individual to open up and make the first step before others do too. You just never know until you try!
