So! Who was your favorite boy group from back in the day? Boy groups really was the way to go up until the mid and late 90's. How I miss them so. Now every time I see a boy group come along I cannot help but to compare them to the classics of Boyz II Men, New Edition, Jackson Five, Bel Biv Devoe, Jodeci, etc. etc. Diddy tries real hard but I am just not feelin any of it(sorry Day 26 & B5). Remember a bit further back in the day when we had the Temptations, and the OJays and Earth Wind & Fire, and the Isley Brothers. Now that was some good stuff! Anyhow, these are a few of my favorite groups. I tripped out when I ran across Shai and their song "If I Ever Fall In Love". That song takes me back to middle school sweethearts. Obviously I could not fit in all of my favorites, but I want to know, who was your favorite boy group? First, New Edition. I loved Ralph Tresvant and I used to tell all of my friends, he's only 10 years older than me, so I can marry him when I'm 20. The Boys were next. My best friend and I exchanged Tajh and Hakim every week. We were fanatics! We vandalized school property tagging their names on everything. Then came Perfect Gentleman, Hi-Five and Jodeci! I also loved other groups like Guy and Intro, but I was absolutely nuts about the first few I named! Funny now, crazy then!

The Boys were my favorite group. *sigh* I was in love with Hakim AND Bilal. Now I think I'm going to have to go find my favorite tunes to listen to.

Heartbreak),Kriss Kross( even though they were hip-hop),Bel Biv Devoe, Guy and of course Jodeci.Remember how innocent teenage love and lust for your fav boy group was back then.Screaming when a new video dropped or plastering a bunch of posters on your wall and pressing your lips against a hard wall and kissing your "man'' goodnight. Calling The Box and requesting that video for the 15 th time that night and letting your eyes glaze over till 2'o clock in the morning cuz you have to see that video one-more-time.Arguing with your best friends-"No, that's my man!." "No, that's my baby he wouldn't want yo ugly self anyways".Remember writing make-believe romance stories about em and begging yo mama to buy you tickets to go a concert when they came into town. Don't make it like that anymore-memories that is.
