There's one major thing that I noticed holds back parents from homeschooling their children - finances.
Many like myself who choose to homeschool have discover financial means to support their family.The most common avenues that parents take is having a job at home or entrepreneurship.
However, there are some parents who hesitate because they don't know how to start.

And you're right...I know finances have kept me from taking the leap. I'm addicted to feeding my family and paying my bills! But more and more I'm becoming addicted to the idea of COMPLETELY raising my kids and stop watching everything I try to instill in them during the precious FEW HOURS I have with them while we're out in the world coming under attack and undone. At one time, money was the major hold-up...now I'm so determined to do this, making money is almost like a final detail. Thanks for looking out...

My perspective that it's okay to have a healthy "addiction" to feeding your children. Everyone has to eat! I think the challenge is how we make our money. It's easy to fall into the trap of eat,sleep,and work in this society.
