As a teenager, I saw Zou Zou and Princess Tam Tam and those movies sparked my beginnings as a fan of Josephine Baker. I have often wondered what a Josephine Baker inspired space would look like. It may be the ultimate bachelorette pad. This is not about banana skirts; it is really about the things Baker did best, a modern woman who knew how to entertain; and here is a space that I put together that is inspired by her classic beauty!
Heavy on charm, a bit of quirk and a little coy, a space would take on Josephine’s same persona accenting clean architectural lines with vintage-inspired, feminine furnishings. Think open plan space outfitted with slipper chairs or a chaise or a very feminine chandelier above a clean-lined dining table. It' would be a modern space with vintage leanings as well as sparkle and shine. What space would be better to gather the girls for ladies night and to celebrate all the joys and fun it is to be a woman?
