I want to Give Thanks to the sistas here who have been giving my book "The Art of Being a Goddess", rave reviews! I am really happy to know that you have been able to enjoy and encompass some of the ideas, practices and spirit of the book.
For those of you who are new, or just recently heard of the book, I am posting some excerpts and reviews from ymib Goddesses.

"The mind of a Goddess is a very complex matter, this is where I'll need to get somewhat technical. Thoughts are not just invisible, intangible ideas in your head. A thought is actually an electrical impulse that can be measured by waves as it occurs in the brain. Thoughts in the mind are very similar to electrical current, you can't all ways see the electricity, yet it is in the air at all times. It can appear with force, such as lightening during a rainstorm or as mild as static electricity on your clothes causing your hair to stand on end.
The same way the utility company controls who, when and how much electric current we receive. We also can harness the power of our thoughts and put them towards specific uses in each area of our lives. A Goddess who is unaware of her power is similar to a house with all the lights turned off. The energy is there but it is not being used, she has no light therefore she lives in darkness, or ignorance. At any time we can choose to turn on that switch inside of us and illuminate our thinking."

" I crawled in bed with "The Art of Being a Goddess" I love the way it was written. Like a sister friend talking to me, no need for dictionaries or on line searches for meaning of words but just a nice smooth read. A book written by an author who is not afraid to share her real life no cover ups no making pretty just real life no pretends. 2 chapters that I really needed were "Keeping emotions in balance" and "your body is a temple" which were a "light" (easy to read and comprehend and easy to relate to)."

First I would like to say thank you! I'm on page 90 of the art of being a goddess. You were put on this earth to share you thought and life lessons with others... I can not began to tell you how you have touchef me! Thank you. Now I know how to become a true goddess. It's a new year and Anew me!

Thank you for this inspiring manifestation. I agree with the other reader,who said the book read like a dear sista reasoning with you. I wasn't able to sit down with it until my house became settled, but when I did........I COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN! I finished my copy in one sitting This is a how-to guide for the woman who hasn't realized or is confused about her worth. This is also an affirmation for the woman who does know her worth, but needs that spiritual boost or insight to who she was created to be, on her low vibe days! I was so inspired by it, that I decided this will be the gift I give to all of my beloved sistren this year. I also will have to purchase another copy that I can carry with me on the go, because I believe its going to get as much use as my first copy of Sacred Woman(wore the spine off it, and highlighted beyond words~smile). This is truly another masterpiece to be proud of! ~Thank You.
** This is a perfectly honest rendering for that preteen daughter that you want to aide into being a Goddess. Imagine that! ~having young women learn these things early, saving them from a heartaches, or the confusion of not knowing the power from within that they have been blessed to possess! Marvelous are thy works!
