I wanted to share this video of my art installation for International Women's Day. This was a very powerful gathering of sisters and I am so proud to have been a part of it. I hope you enjoy it, there's a whole lot of Oshun energy here as well :)

Beautiful
Hi Marissa --
Thank you for sharing your work, it is beautiful and inspiring and I enjoyed receiving the always-welcome energy of Oshun ; ) I love the mirror piece!
As for your fabrics form Ghana, don't be afraid to cut into some of them, to create something further with them. Your spirit will guide you, and there are no mistakes when you work with African fabrics, ,just "creative opportunities". Start with small cuts froma larger peice and see what develops - I know you'll do something beautiful with it. And you can always find your way back to Ghana when you want to ; )
be well,
lisa

You carry the internal life essence of a Goddess. Youthful energy jus pours through your smile & the stars in your eyes. You are a very beautiful wombman. You got good energy & a lovely spirit. I thought your art installation, your alter was composed beautifully. I could feel your ancestors come alive as you walked us though your creation. Give thanks for sharing. It highlighted my day & refined my sense of gratitude.
