I always look at the full moon cycle, especially the lunar eclipse as an oracle—everything that happens over that approximate three day period, if you are open will reveal rich inner personal and collective insights. The lunar eclipse energy is a heightened version of the full moon which emphasizes our relationships—how we receive and give and our connection to different aspects of our lives. An acute awareness of what is lacking emotionally often comes up during a full moon and our personal desires/needs take up most of our awareness during this time either consciously or unconsciously. To counter these sometimes difficult emotions it is a good time to celebrate what we do have positive in our lives to further implant in our genetic and our more subtle spiritual bodies a sense of joy and accomplishment so each full moon becomes a reflection of positive connection in all areas of our lives.
The sense most acute at this time is the sense of hearing. Music has an especially strong input/influence during the full moon. In this lunar eclipse I had the opportunity to view the documentary “Before The Music Dies” featuring Eryka Badu, The Roots, Bonnie Rait, Branford Marselis, Dave Matthews and others. The focus of the documentary is on artists who have gone beyond the mainstream of music genres to create global followings by staying true to themselves and taking ownership of their dreams by choosing to be the director or center of their careers and not have a lot of handlers and managers making decisions for them. They are not the most famous in their field or the financially richest but they are without a doubt the happiest. Their advice was almost universal. Be true to your own unique vision and don’t let others infiltrate your dream. That is what this lunar eclipse seems to offer us. Ask yourself a few questions over the next few days and months. One might be “in what way am I allowing the status quo to stifle my self esteem and self direction? Another question may be (which is a variation of the first) “is what I’m doing resulting in what I had envisioned?” “What can I do to be more compassionate to myself at this time”? There is a focus on the sun, Venus and Saturn in this lunar eclipse which to me speaks of unique self expression, traditional ways of doing things and the blocks involved. The message seems to be connect with your own unique brilliant way of contributing to the whole without unnecessarily compromising and you will go far. Peace, Liaya

Very Good Insight
Blessings Goddess Woman Liaya,
Thank you for sharing this with us. Last night, I went outside and bathed myself in the energy of the eclipse. I looked upon the Great Mother Moon and gave thanks for all the blessings in my life. I released to her all of my concerns and sat down and wrote Her a letter as well, placing it under a Gardenia candle.
I saw the planets and the stars and embraced the beauty of the Universe in all of Her glory. I gave thanks again and again and again. Heavenly.
In the Spirit of SiStarhood!
