was much better than the previous night ? So glad to see that they showed many different black men in all situations and in a positive light. I was really impressed and happy that they did not slander the Black Man segment.

Bravo to CNN...... Yet and still I did not learn anything new last night. I guess these 2 part documentary was to educate the ignorant masses that know nothing about the black man in America but what they hear and see in the TV late night news.

Hello Sisters!

I have been away from you for a long while but now I'm back ! And I See so many new faces and I say New Morning and hello to you all....

I have a dilemma and it's called HAIR I'm a New Natural Diva and I have serious Corn Flakes going on in my hair ( Seriously I can talk to you right don't laugh but I am so maybe you can too) Any who.... My hair is dry morning noon and night. and Keeping it conditioned and moisturized daily is such a freak nightmare and headache. Please help me!

The more I grease my scalp the more my skin suffers. I have tried everything Tea Tree oil, Organic Do Grow Products and Shampoos & Conditioners. NOTHING IS working.

Tell me Some One how can I keep my Natural hair Moisturized without having to fight it everyday?

Recently I have been confronted with many people trying to force their ways and expectations upon me. I have decided to not allow this expectations rule me or my days.

On women ( at work ) said that i don’t speak to her in the morning. I told not to take it personal it is no offense to her I don’t consciously wake up and the morning and think " uhm I’m not going to speak to her today" child please I have better things to think of for my day to be prosperous and productive. She is over weight and extremely insecure and is always talking about how other people talk about her.

My mother always wants me to do what she tells me to do she says " do it now and do it right " I said, Honey I am grown 28 to be exact and I love you but not every thing you recommend works for me, I am my own person and I will continue to live as such. She only my mother and wants the best for me I know. She can also be extremely over bearing, but you only have one and she’s mine I wouldn’t trade her in!!!!

Ok Sisters I have another Political Question for ya!

With the slip in the poles for Obama, and the rising of Hillary, is it appropriate for Jeremiah Wright to continue to Talk and Talk about the connection to him and Obama, the Church, the American Dream Deferred for Blacks and other poor people?

My Opinion:

I think he is hurting Obama by continuing to speak on TV make public appearances and speeches on this topic and Obama. I'm all for his sermons and speeches they are right on point and setting America on Fire amongst all races and it's getting us to talk about the Issue of Race and Class in our society. But I truly think he is hurting Obamas chances. People are very wishy washy ( voters have changed their votes) and will hang you (not literally) just by association to another. I'm afraid they will and are going to do this to Obama.

So should Rev. Wright just sit this one out and wait till the race is over?

This Morning or Afternoon I wanted to get a take on your responses to the Political Scene Today. Whats your response on the last debate, and the Penn State Primary?

Who are you supporting ? And why? If your candidate doesn't win the nomination will you vote for the other or Not Vote At All?

Well today I made the step to seek out a natural hair Care professional to help me transition wisely I have not had a chemical for 8+ months now and have been slowly cutting and growing it out . I'm at about 2-3 inches ( Possibly) I'm excited!

I have a consultation with her on Thursday and I cant wait to hear what she has to tell me . She has already given me much information and I cant wait to meet with her for our consultation. I plan on getting a cornrow twist combination Does any one have pics or ideas of some styles I can copy? I'm not ready to loc yet.. I still want to play with my hair and find creative ways to wear it in it's natural state.

Right Now I use a ceramic hot iron at times (to straighten) or I get cornrows.

Well it's almost finished... I'm moving back home. to my mothers house ... ahahahahahahahahah! Am I Crazy ?! I think I must have lost me mind. Well she offered a few months back and I said uhmm let me think about it I just finished school which has left me broken physically ( I gained 10 pounds) and financially ( Lets just say I wouldn’t be able to bay a pinto if they still made them) . I was in a tail spin Robbing Peter to Pay Paul(lol) Sound the offer was extended and after much much thought I said yes ( months in thought) My Future Husband and I want to get married, buy a house and raise a family and I don’t want to come to the table empty handed. He’s in full support of my move and said that it will be good.

I wont have to pay rent which means I can SAVE! It’s Hard out here in These Streets for a single momma ( unmarried) like my self I don’t want to JUST get by I want to Make it and Be able to Make it Happen if and When I want. I have some what been Depressed and I have let money Run me for the last couple of years. I need to Regroup and Get my self on Solid Ground for Our Future.

New Morning to you sisters!

Today, This Morning I was confronted through email by a "friend" who said That I thought I was white or other (lol) but she knew I was black because me hair sure was nappy! I let her have it and made her (hopefully) look at herself in the mirror and ask herself " Do I like me? " I wont say much but I will post what my response was to her: SEE BELOW

"You think I'm white because I act like a grown women and I have some sense. I know I'm black down to the core.. I'm more Pro Black, Pro African Then any of one you might know. But you don't know that side of me cause when I talk about it you get all uptight cause your scared to face your own Identity.

Don’t ever question the way I feel about my ancestry. Playing or not."

I did not address the hair thing to her because she perms her hair at least 4-5 times a year I have tried to talk to her about stopping but she wont listen and she's balding around the edges. She wouldn’t know healthy hair from a bag of weave. LOL

We don't just need to educate the children we need to educate the adults as well...

Hey my sisters I just wanted to tell you all how great I have been feeling. Some of you might remember when I posted how I had been feeling down and just plain ol' tired, me knowing my body needed to be recharged and given life giving nourishment I made a change.

Well since that change about a month ago now I have not only lost 6 pounds joined the walking club here at work and a weight lose contest.

People say girl you don’t need to lose weight but HEY I KNOW ME AND WHERE I WANT TO BE HEALTH WISE SO "I" MADE THE CHANGE FOR ME. I have even been sleeping much better and a lot earlier and also having sweet dreams.

Been getting lots of love, and have been taking charge of my environment and that includes the people in it. I notice a unbalance in my life, my health and made a change. And now I'm moving forward to being brand new.

I have been receiving lots of interest in my company and that is oh so exciting. Been bloging on my Fashion Blog Site www.imagineu365.blogspot.com and having a all-around good time.

I was told thruough a email that It’s Women’s Month …. March is Women’s Month uhmm since when did “they” need to delegate a month for US. I find this to be quite hilarious to limit 30 days to US.

We Womb-man rule the world any Right?

We are the creative forces of life Right?

So why do we need a month to celebrate US?

We are already celebrated everyday, thru our children’s accomplishments, or significant others praises and love giving, our own love, respect and appreciation of ourselves and of fellow sister’s .

I for one Celebrate Womb-man everyday My Mother for her fighting Spirit, My Grand Mother for her Fighting Spirit, My Aunt for her Wonderful Relationship to the Almighty God, and my friends for their endless courage to walk this society today and retain the dignity that is constantly chipped at everyday.

Women’s Month …. Please we don’t need 30 days, we already have Eternity.

The time is due to spring forward this Sunday giving us a few more mins/hours of sunlight. I have been feeling very tired, drained, in a daze though out the day recently. And i know it is because I have not been obeying my body, listening to the sounds, feeling the change, inside of me. I visited a health/herb store recently and the woman behind the counter told me to get more sleep, change my diet, stop trying to do everything in the short span of 24hrs, relax, relax.

I have to admit I was not surprised that she could see it in my 28 year old eyes that I have the soul of a old woman, and the strength of one too lol. With school, Children, Work, Play, and Financial worries I have been the what I call A Functional Stressor, I can hide my stress very well and sometimes even from myself. It's ruff out here Times is ruff and gas is expensive is what I all ways say. you have any Idea how this Gas Increase affects each and everyone of us. Gezz

It's time to change the time inside of me. Eating right, more vegetable, less sugar ( I'm an addict), more sleep, exercise, relax , relax , relax.

We are in historical times here in Amerika. What is your take on the changed political stage. Does Barrack have a chance, does Hillary have your vote, does McCain give you the a look into the future?

I get emotional when I think of Barrack taking office January, I almost tear up and want to Shout like Sunday Morning. It's a dream that is so close that I can taste it. Not because he is the black candidate, but because I have read each candidate's web page and read were they stand on policy, government, heath care, the war, social security, economy, education, international relationshions and more. And my Choice is Obama!

I want CHANGE, I want CHANGE, I want CHANGE... because experience has gotten us no were, and inexperience got us into war. Time for a change.

Is it me or has everyone lost it lost their self, lost their emotions, lost their way. After watching the television I was hurt to find 3-5stories about quite a few celebrities have either checked their selves in to Rehab, died trying to medicate the pain the harbored for too long, or just going off the deep end. And I'm sure there are some people in your lives you know have as well.

And it has caused me to say we as a PEOPLE Black, White, Asian, Hispanic and I can go on are HURT! Hurting, from self hate and disappointment in our selves. It seems we have gotten too hard on our own bodies, minds, and souls. It hurts me to see that the talented, musical genius Lauryn Hill is in a state of mind that has her acting not like the Lauryn we remember. Britney Spears has spinet herself into oblivion losing her children (so sad to see this happen to any mother) and losing her mind. Heath Ledger taking medication because he suffered from lack of sleep, anxiety, and fatigue as a result dying way too young.

Are you a Jill of All Trades? Do you crown you self The Mother of all Multitasking. Do people look at you and say "That girl sure can do it all ". How are you handling everyday living, everyday business, everyday life. House, Work, Children, Relationships. Are they boosting your energy and allowing you to be every woman to everyone or are they a drain on the temple we call our body ?
