I was having a conversation the other day with a co-worker of who is about a year or two younger than I. As we were talking about present and future plans, I mentioned going to school later in the year. My co-worker then said "you should be getting ready to graduate form college, not just starting." Briefly taken aback, I responded by saying that there is no age limit on on when you can and cannot attend school. If that were the case, people would never be able to go to college at 32, or 45, or even 60. Then I asked the question I knew would close their mouth. I said "are you implying that I'm too old to go to school?" The look on my co-worker face was worth a thousand laughs as they sat there trying to get their words together. In verbal response I got nothing, but the eyes were saying "oops, sorry". I just found it so funny how someone almost the same age as me can sit there and call me old. But when you think about it, how old is too old?
