My crazy hair, it causes so many conversations. From my strange heritage I have peppermint stick size curls, straw size, lil coils and then alot of random straight hair!! It gives me a headache.. so I have been thinking about getting Sisterlocks. All of the source I have came across don't tell what that are really; it seems that the "professionals" don't want you to know how they are done. I don't know about you but as for me I didn't go natural to have someone doing some unknown process to my hair. I mean really. I know it's trademarked but thats really strange. I don't want to have to get them and have to run back , get them tighten as if I am gettting a touch up on a relaxer.
If anyone has any knowledge on Sisterlocks please let me know. I want to be fully informed before taking this step in my life.

Today I was a harsh day. My English paper was due, Nutrition exam over 3 chapters, and I was running late. I didn't write the paper; I skipped it to study for an exam. Through all that stress I found a way to see some sunshine. The cold Tennessee wind kick my butt like always, but seeing my friends after a test brought me some light. I spent hours laughing and talking, talking and laughing. College guys always find a way to bring some sunshine. Its funny how when you start college all of your friends drop all the crazy high school crap and move on with life. We die from crazy professors, share pain and sorrow. It crazy how academic stress brings complete strangers closer.
Oh that English class I skipped to study, my teacher saw me talking to my friend who works in the bookstore..talk about the look of death!! Then she saw me in the cafeteria talking to my other friends.. that was so scary!! I mean I wanted to hide scary!
Well on the way home I past Borders and thought it would do my soul some good.
